You must determine if you have non-slotted or slotted back check valves to order the proper part. The surest method to do this is to remove one from your system to visually check. Sometimes they were installed with faceplates giving improper series numbers. To do this you must first depressurize your system (if you are unsure on how to do this we suggest you enlist the services of a certified medical gas professional). Remove the faceplate, then turn out the check valve turning clockwise.  This is a left-handed thread. To install the check valve reverse the procedure. Proper depth of the check valve will very slightly pull the faceplate tight to the wall. Check to make sure your duplex quick connect operates correctly. If it doesn’t you will need to adjust the depth of the check valve so that the quick connect engages the lip on the check valve.
